Double Rooms

Gara Raksha is an upper-floor Rice Field Junior Suite with Private Terrace and Open-Sky Garden Shower, designed to offer space, privacy and a quiet connection to the surrounding landscape. The elevated position gives the room open views over the surrounding rice fields.

The suite takes its name from the Gara Raksha, a traditional mask used in ritual dance to ward off harmful influences. It is particularly associated with protection from what traditional belief describes as the evil eye and evil mouth.

The suite offers approximately 45-50 sqm of indoor space and features a king-size bed, bathtub, elegant private bathroom, hot water, wardrobe, safety box, minibar, air conditioning, an Illy Italian coffee machine and kettle. Double curtains include a lighter curtain and a more blackout option for comfort, privacy and restful sleep.

The bathroom is equipped with selected Spa Ceylon amenities, including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body lotion. Gara Raksha also features a large open-sky garden shower with tropical plants and roof openings, creating a private indoor-outdoor bathing experience.

From the room, guests can step onto a private 30 sqm terrace overlooking the rice fields. Furnished with a hammock, sofa and table, the terrace creates a peaceful outdoor space for coffee, reading, relaxing or enjoying the quiet atmosphere of the property.
